WHAT'S GOOD IN IT ?
          1) It is a book beloved by generations of readers. It acts as bittersweet fable for kids and philosophical masterpiece for adults. The book is full of lessons which can be learned by a person of any age.
          2) Families can talk with their kids about the book and it's moral. Parents can ask their children what the chapter was about and can teach them lots of the things through book.
          3) Book also has some philosophical massages for adults. Such as - ruling is not of any good if there is no one to rule on, getting admired is not everything, running behind fortune is useless if you can't live a happy life, if you are not enjoying your profession then there is no point in having one, and so on.
          4) Though book is translated from French to English, it does not losses it's glamour, fineness and beauty. It is also translated into number of other languages (around 300).

WHAT'S BAD IN IT?
          1) Some readers may find this book little boring because of subjective opinion.
          2) It is little hard to call it a children's literature, as it has lots of philosophical points which are hard to get for children.
